PMA Condemns Target Killing of Doctor In Rawalpindi

KARACHI-  Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) strongly condemned the target killing of Dr. Naushad Khalid, in the city of Rawalpindi, while he was at his clinic.

Secretary General, Pakistan Medical Association (Centre), Dr. SM Qaisar Sajjad stated that, this is extremely unfortunate that after so many previous incidents, our government still has failed to provide security to doctors.

No one from the concerned authorities has contacted the bereaved family of late Dr. Khalid, yet.

PMA has demanded that the culprits involved in such heinous crime should immediately be arrested and must be given exemplary punishment.

Doctors, all over Pakistan, should be provided with optimum security, to avoid such awful incidents; so that they can serve their nation with complete peace of mind.

Dr. Sajjad further demanded that, money for accessory support should be handed over to the aggrieved family, immediately.
