PRCS launches ‘Community Medicine Assistance Services’

KARACHI: The Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh (PRCS) recently launched a Community Medical Assistance Services named "AAGAHI COVID-19" in coordination and cooperation with the Governor of Sindh and President of Pakistan at the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) of the Provincial Headquarters Sindh Hilal-e-Ahmer House, Karachi.

This center will work as a call center where people can call for information about the coronavirus. The center has about 1000 medical doctors available on the line, and callers may discuss his /her problem directly with the doctor.

This system will help reduce anxiety and panic amongst the people sitting at home and, at the same time, gain their confidence. Initially, ten lines will be available round the clock. The number is 021-37130084.
