3rd annual pharmacy Symposium and pharmaceutical exhibition held

The Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Central Punjab located at Johar Town in Lahore, successfully concluded the 3rd Annual International Pharmacy Scientific Symposium & Pharmaceutical Exhibition, from 28th to 30th March, 2014. The theme of this years Symposium was; “Bridging Pharmacy Practice & Research” and it was held in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) & Dev-Net (Network of Development Professionals)

The Organizing Committee of the event included; Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jamshaid as the Chairman, while Prof. Dr. Mahmood Ahmed was the Co- Chairman along with Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar as the Conference Secretary, and Mr. Irfan Bashir as the Event Organizer.

The salient features of the event included the participation of highly distinguished researchers and Experts from the United States of America, United Kingdom, France and Malaysia. Other highlights of the programme included; a Workshop on Tuberculosis, a highly competitive and well participated Scientific Posters Contest, along with an extensive Pharmaceutical Exhibition
