Islamabad: Aside from safeguarding the maritime frontiers of the country, the Pakistan Navy makes significant contributions towards the betterment of the underprivileged, especially those from Sindh and Baluchistan.
The Pakistan Navy regularly undertakes relief and rehabilitation activities in order to mitigate the difficulties faced by the residents of these areas.
In line with this aim, a ceremony was held at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Uthal in the Lasbela district in which the Pakistan Navy contributed medical supplies worth more than Rs3million to the hospital authorities.
These medical and healthcare supplies included medicine, medical equipment, air conditioners for the hospital’s Operation Theatre, and medical instruments.
