Abducted Neurosurgeon Returns Home After 48 Days

Quetta- KARACHI- Dr Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, a Neurosurgeon from Baluchistan who was kidnapped from Quetta last month, finally return home on Tuesday after 48 days. A ransom of 50 million rupees had to be paid for his safe release.

Earlier, PMA Centre had raised its voice against this kidnapping and also wrote letters to Chief Minister and Governor of Balochistan for the safe recovery of Dr Khalil.

PMA has expressed great relief and happiness of the safe recovery of Dr Khalil. A PMA spokesperson said, “We appreciate all the doctors particularly doctors from Balochistan, who struggled for his safe return.”

 

The PMA demanded the government to provide foolproof security to the doctors to prevent such incidents in future.
