PDF hails CM’s decision on Covid contract doctors

KARACHI: People's Doctors Forum (PDF) Sindh appreciation for the recent statement made by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah regarding the provision of reevaluation opportunity to the Covid contract-based doctors who could not qualify Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) test in the first attempt.

In their joint statement, the PDF President Dr. Abdul Razzaq Sheikh, and Karachi Division President Dr Ashiq Hussain Shah welcomed the chief minister's announcement that Covid contract doctors would be again sent to the SPSC, giving them an opportunity for re-eligibility. They said that out of 810 seats, only 522 doctors have been declared successful by the SPSC, emphasizing the need to support the remaining doctors in their quest for eligibility.

The CM’s assurance to send the remaining doctors back to SPSC for re-evaluation was commended by the PDF, terming it a significant step by the PPP’s provincial government towards ensuring fairness for all medical professionals.
