Fatal case of Congo virus in Attock

ATTOCK: Congo virus, also known as Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever (CCHF) has claimed the life of a 44-year-old man in Hazro, Attock.

As per reports from the additional deputy commissioner (ADC), the deceased was transported from Rawalpindi in a coffin under strict security and safety measures.

The ADC says that the deceased was laid to rest in Malaklan, a village located on the outskirts of Hazro, following special emergency protocols.

The emergence of this case underscores the importance of heightened vigilance and preventive measures against vector-borne diseases in the region.
