KARACHI- Pakistan Red Crescent (PRC) Sindh organized a 3-day basic first aid awareness program for general public, at a local mall in Karachi. The session was conducted to provide first aid knowledge amongst people, in order to prepare them for emergency situations.
The session was conducted for three consecutive days after Iftar timings. It provided the people a chance to interact with PRC Sindh’s trained staff and volunteers, to learn basic first aid techniques.
To further enhance public’s level of interest, PRCS also organized a quiz show and awarded gifts to the audience.
PRCS Chairman, Shanaz Hamid also visited the stall and greatly emphasized on the need of conducting such sessions on regular basis to continue spreading awareness amongst the masses.
