Health Professional Allowance Approved For Paramedical and Support Staff

KARACHI- The Government of Sindh has approved health professional allowance, worth 20% of their respective basic pay, for the paramedical and supporting staff of Government health facilities.

According to the Finance Department Government of Sindh, with the Chief Minister’s approval, health professional allowance has been sanctioned for the paramedical and support staff who have been promoted to BPS-16 and BPS-17, working in Government sector hospitals.

Central Leader, Paramedical Staff Joint Action Committee, Sindh, Asmil Jiskani , appreciated the Ex-Chief Minister Sindh, former Health Minister and Secretary Health for this approval of allowance and promotions.

Back in March 2018, the Paramedical Staff Joint Action Committee, Sindh staged a 3-day sit-in outside Karachi Press Club (KPC) for the approval of health professional allowance, on the patron of Punjab, Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
