Congo virus cases rise in Balochistan, reaches 41

QUETTA: Balochistan has reported another case of the Congo virus, bringing the total number of cases this year to 41.
Sharafuddin, a 25-year-old man, was admitted to Fatima Jinnah Hospital in critical condition. Hospital officials confirmed that he tested positive for the virus following a series of tests.
The Congo virus is primarily transmitted to humans through ticks found on cattle and other livestock. It can lead to severe symptoms, including fever, muscle pain, vomiting, and internal bleeding. The disease has a high fatality rate, and there is currently no vaccine or specific treatment available.
