LAHORE: The Heart Surgery Programme of Chief Minister Punjab has successfully conducted surgeries on 800 children, with plans underway to expand its scope.
Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique announced this during a review meeting.
He said that before the programme's launch, families often endured months-long waits for surgeries. "Now, the waiting list has been significantly reduced," he claimed.
The programme is also increasing the capacity of children's hospitals in Punjab and is being closely monitored via an online live dashboard to ensure its efficiency.
