CPSP President declared Quack in PMDC public notice

Karachi: Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) declared a quack of CPCP president Dr Zafarullah Choudhry, the public notice was published in a local national news paper on November 29^th with titled “ Public at Large is Hereby Warned to Check Quackery” included the names of 22 distinguished consultants including Dr Zafarullah Chaudhry , Prof Dr Tipu Sultan.

The notice it seems is for only those who are working at senior level in medical institutions and have not renewed their PM&DC certificate. It is pertinent to mention that if the list was to be published it should have included all those who did not have valid PM&DC since it was a public notice and not a notice to institutions. The purpose of the notice it seems was to malign a selected few.

If not having a valid PM&DC means the doctor has become a quack then PM&DC is urged to immediately publish a full list so that public is properly informed about all such practicing doctors and dentists rather than targeting a selected few.
