LAHORE: Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, Chief Minister of Punjab, has authorised a plan to upgrade 85 THQ hospitals and the outpatient departments of all hospitals in the province.
While presiding over a meeting about the provision of excellent healthcare services to the populace, the Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz issued an order to expedite the completion of existing healthcare initiatives, as it is the right of the common man to get the greatest amenities.

In six to eight months, he added, the quality of healthcare facilities in the outpatient departments (OPDs) of all hospitals would be upgraded, and he would oversee the process personally.
Across addition, he acknowledged the lack of physicians and paramedics and approved a plan to upgrade 85 THQ hospitals in the province.
In addition, the Chief Minister of Punjab ordered the health department to develop a strategy to address the doctor and paramedic shortfall.
The OPDs should be renovated as soon as possible in order to offer patients with every feasible amenity; during his hospital visits, he lamented the insufficient cleaning preparations.
Consequently, he continued, a thorough plan should be adopted to ensure the cleanliness of hospitals.
The secretary of health provided an update on departmental performance and the enhancement of healthcare facilities.
