KARACHI: Gold ended the week with a paltry Rs50 per tola drop. The yellow metal continues to face optimistic pressure that the recovery phase would assist markets and currencies to remain stable.
Prices fell by Rs50 per tola to Rs126,100 and Rs43 per 10 gram to Rs108,110 from Friday's rates. Further, gold gained barely Rs100 per tola collectively during the week.
It's worth noting here that the association establishes local prices in accordance with the rupee-dollar parity and international rates. Local gold prices typically decline in response to the rupee's rise versus the US dollar and rising commodity prices on the international market.
