Doctors innoculate expired vaccines to Sindh Police officials

SUKKUR: An investigation revealed that 170 police officers at the Khairpur police training centre received expired doses of COVID-19 booster shots.

The investigation, initiated on DIG Sukkur's directions, indicated that five health professionals were administering expired COVID booster doses.

On January 24, four officers developed health problems following the administration of COVID booster shots to 170 cops at a training centre in Khairpur. It was discovered that the vaccines have an expiration date of December 2021.

The report urges the department to initiate disciplinary action against the accused health personnel.
