Ziauddin college of dentistry welcomes to new faculty

Dr. Ziauddin College of Dentistry recently added two new members to its faculty.

Dr Amir Akbar Shaikh recently joined Ziauddin College of Dentistry (Ziauddin University) as Assistant Professor and Head of Department for Community and Preventive Dentistry.

A graduate of Fatima Jinnah Dental College, Dr. Amir went on to complete his Masters in Dental Public Health (MDPH) from University of Sheffield, UK. He then joined Liaquat Medical and Dental College as an Assistant professor where he successfully introduced C-ortho course and Plaxwax competitions. Before joining Ziauddin University, he was serving at the Dow Dental College (DUHS). Ziauddin Dental College hopes to capitalize on his three years of extensive teaching experience and knowledge gained from his international degree.

In similar capacity, Ziauddin Dental College has appointed Dr Mustafa Naseem as an Assistant Professor in department of Community and Preventive Dentistry. Dr Mustafa Naseem also holds a Masters in Dental Public Health from University of Sheffield (United Kingdom). Dental News wishes both professors best of luck in excelling dental education in Pakistan.
