Coronavirus patient commits suicide at JMPC

KARACHI: An under treatment coronavirus patient committed suicide at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.

Sources at the JPMC noted that a 31-year-old coronavirus suspected patient, resident of Landhi Town, was admitted to Isolation Ward on the second floor for the past couple of days. The patient jumped from the third floor of the building in the early hours of the day. As a result, the patient badly injured and rushed to the Emergency Department, where he died.

The patient was reported to be mentally upset due to the viral infection and thus committed suicide.
