Karachi University (KU) awards degrees to students
The Advanced Studies and Research Board of the University of Karachi has conferred 73 MPhil and 36 PhD degrees in many fields.

Prof Dr Maqsood Ali Ansari, Acting Registrar, University of Karachi (KU), stated that the ASRB conferred these degrees at a meeting chaired by Prof Dr Nasira Khatoon, Acting Vice-Chancellor, KU.

In the meantime, he mentioned that PhD degrees were granted to Rafiq Ahmed (Applied Economics [AERC]), Arisha Sohail and Hoor Fatima (Biochemistry), Atiya Tabassum and Iffat Imran (Biotechnology [KIBGE]), Robina Sultana (Botany), Shabana and Rabab Fatima Rizvi (Botany [ISHU]), Noman (Chemistry [HEJ]), Zainab Khan (Clinical Psychology (Zoology).
