Performance awards for Lady Health workers

KARACHI- Health Department Sindh has decided to give annual best performance awards to lady health workers and lady health supervisor, it was learned recently.

The provincial health department has decided to give annual best performance awards to two lady health workers and a lady health supervisor, for the first time in Sindh province, to acknowledge their services in the medical field.  The summery has been prepared and will be moved for approval soon.

The decision was made in a recently held meeting of National Programme for Family Planning (Lady Health Workers) which was chaired by Secretary Health Sindh Iftikhar Shalwani.  Two lady health workers and a lady health supervisor would be given awards for their best performance in routine vaccination coverage.

Each of the lady health workers will be selected from Karachi and interior Sindh for annual performance awards, while a lady health supervisor will be selected for the annual best performance award. 

The office-bearers of All Pakistan Lady Health Workers Employees Association Sindh have expressed their pleasure and appreciation over this decision of the provincial health department.  They said; the decision will boost the morale of lady health workers in the province.
