KARACHI- Executive District Officer Health Karachi has formed monitoring teams to monitor the non-functional, under served 50 bed hospitals and Rural Health Centers of city.
According to the officer order, issued by EDO Health Karachi - Dr Aafar Ejaz, under which monitoring teams have been formed in order to make non-functional, under served 50 bed hospitals and RCH fully functional to exploit their potential to provide comprehensive health care facilities to the patients to their catchment and adjoining areas.
The following officers have been assigned to supervise and monitor these health facilities for their improvement to make them fully operational and functional in addition to their own duties.
The officers assigned for supervising and monitoring health facilities are; District Officer Admin & Account Dr Immadulluh Siddique for RHC Monghopir Gadap Town and 50 beds Hospital Lal Market New Karachi. The District Office Procurement Dr Abdul Khalique Sheikh assigned for RHC Old Thana/Tando Nalo and 50 bedded Hospital Murad Memon Goth. The District Officer Legal Dr Iqbal Nabi Memon selected for monitoring of RHC Baldia and RHC Shershah. The District Officer Curative Dr Muhammad Shahid assigned for 50 beds hospital Mansoor Nagar Orangi Town and 50 bed hospital Shah Faisal Colony.
The officers have been directed to immediately visit and devise plan for their improvement and functioning. These officers will visit above mention health facilities on biweekly basis and submit detail report to the EDO Karachi.
Moreover, EDO Health Karachi also started computerization of health department buildings located in different areas of Karachi for which PC-1 has been approved. The office has also been established in Civic Center for computerization of records about these buildings.
