Pakistan Medical Association Condemns Torturing of Female Doctors

KARACHI- Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Karachi, strongly condemned the act of physical torture over female doctors, from medical unit-5, at Dr. Ruth K.M Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi.

General Secretary, PMA, Karachi, Dr. Abdul Ghafoor Shoro, confirmed the news of physical assualt over female doctors, one of who was said to be pregnant, and was also threatened by the assaulters.

Dr. Ghafoor further stated that, it's the hospital administration’s responsibility to provide security to the doctors. He demanded from the higher authorities to take stern action against the culprits and that an FIR should be lodged against them.
