KARACHI: Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, Minister of Health, Sindh, said that Cold Storage Centres would be established in all public sector hospitals throughout Sindh Province, whereas mortuary for the dead bodies will also be installed in all public sector hospitals soon.
She was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the 3-days 18th International Conference of Obstetrics & Gynecology, which starts today at a local hotel in Karachi. Prof Razia Karejo, President PSOG, Prof Haleema Yasmeen and other governing members attended the conference. Besides senior gynaecologists, postgraduate students were present on occasion.
Prof Razia Karejo, in her address, said that the aim of the conference is to address the issue of women's health in Sindh and Pakistan. It also aims to bring together Consultants, Basic Science Researchers, Community Health Experts, Physiotherapists, Nutritionists, General Practitioners, Postgraduate Students and General Public under a single platform to reproductive health problems and come up with new treatment options.
In the end, Prof. Razia Karejo presented a token of appreciation to Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho.
