New Chest Pain Unit setup at NICVD

KARACHI: The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) recently established the 16th Chest Pain Unit (CPU) at Cantonment General Hospital Karachi. NICVD executive director Prof Dr Nadeem Qamar inaugurated the facility.

Prof Qamar termed the establishment of the 16th CPU as another ‘gift’ for the people of Karachi. He said the CPU would be linked to the main NICVD, where all cardiac care facilities, including angiography, angioplasty and cardiac surgeries are available.
