KARACHI: A new clinic, pharmacy, and collection point has recently been inaugurated by Alkhidmat in the Gulshan-e-Maymar locality of Karachi to enhance public access to healthcare services.
Following the formal opening of the healthcare facility, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Karachi, declared that Alkhidmat has ambitious plans to establish around 200 pharmacies across the country.
As one of the country's largest charitable organizations, Alkhidmat is dedicated to providing world-standard medical services to the public nationwide through its hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies at subsidized prices.
Furthermore, Rehman revealed that the ongoing Bano Qabil pharmacist program, designed to assist housewives, will be expanded to offer additional support.
Highlighting the diverse range of charitable services offered by Alkhidmat, he mentioned initiatives such as the clean water project, education support, orphan care, and the Bano Qabil program. He said a free IT courses program, now in its second edition with enrollment from 25,000 youths, is also running successfully.
