KARACHI: Renowned hotel Pearl Continental is under criticism after its roof collapsed during an Award function last night, May 27, at midnight.
According to sources, one man, Raees Ahmad, lost his life while three were injured during the incident. The rescue team had reached the hotel in time, and the injured victims have since were successfully shifted to Jinnah hospital after the incident.
However, guests and frequent visitors are now questioning the hotel management for this mishap.
Surprisingly, a five-star hotel was constructed so that it crumbled under the weight of the guests staying at the hotel.
