Man lost his eye owing to torture by cop in Karachi

KARACHI: A man lost his eye after being thrashed up by a traffic police officer and his son in Karachi for tossing garbage outside his home.  

Details indicate that the event occurred in the city's Gulshan-e-Hadeed neighbourhood.

According to reliable sources, the traffic cop named Akram got into a violent altercation with several of his neighbours. 

The debate evolved into a physical battle, with the children of the police sub-inspector also joining him in the scuffle.

The cop's children threw a stone at a neighbour, causing him to lose an eye. The victim has made a formal complaint to the appropriate authorities, pleading with them to help him get justice and hold the officer accountable.
