Candidates can select any of the above Venue as his/her Test Centre, considering the distance from their residence for convenience.
It is mandatory for candidates to have Domicile of Sindh Province to appear in entry test for Admission in MBBS/BDS Programme in Public & Private Sector Medical Colleges of Sindh Province. As per Admission Regulations 2018, a Candidate MUST have passed Intermediate/HSSC Pre-Medical Group or Equivalent Examination (e.g. A -Level, 12th Grade etc.) with minimum 70% unadjusted marks, however those awaiting results can also apply.
Mere Appearance in entry test does not confer the right to claim admission in any medical & dental college. All the admissions shall be provided in accordance with allocation of seats.
PATTERN OF ENTRY TEST:
Entry Test shall comprise of a Single Question Paper containing 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), divided into following four sections: Biology = 80 MCQs Chemistry= 60 MCQs Physics = 40 MCQs English = 20 MCQs. The duration of test shall be 150 Minutes (2 Hours, 30 Minutes). There will be no negative marking and passing marks shall be 60% (i.e. 120/200).
For the first time PM&DC has specified categories for questions in each subject section based on their level of difficulty. The questions will belong to one of the following categories: very hard, hard, moderate, easy, and very easy. This table will further elaborate the classification:
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
All candidates must carry a black or blue ballpoint, a clipboard, and their roll number slip/admit card. No candidate will be allowed entry without the roll number slip. Reporting time will be specified on the slip, and entry to the test centre after the mentioned time will not be permitted.
Each candidate will be given one answer sheet and a question booklet; both will have to be returned on the completion of test. The answer sheet will have question numbers; each number followed 5 circles marked from A to E denoting the 5 answer choices. The candidate should fill in the circle for the answer they think is correct, no extra marking should be done on the sheet.
