Whilst addressing the media personnel, the executive director informed that alongside the Command and Control Room, more than 125 closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras of 8 megapixels are being installed at different sites inside JPMC, to easily monitor hospital security, ward functioning and activities of the visitors.
She further mentioned that this step being taken to upgrade the pre-existing security system was decided after viewing Pakistan’s current law and order situation, and that these new steps would improve the overall security of the health facility.
Moreover, the patrolling of trained security guards have also been increased.
The establishment of Command and Control Room, and installation of these new cameras is said to be completed within a month.
