Cop allegedly rapes a disabled girl in Karachi

KARACHI: An 18-year-old disabled teenager was allegedly raped by a police officer in a colony located inside Jinnah Medical and Postgraduate Centre (JPMC).

On a complaint of the victim, local police had apprehended the accused police official. 

A Senior Superintendent (SSP), Investigation, South, had taken custody of an officer who is alleged to be the gunman of a high-ranking police officer.

Imran Ismail, Governor of Sindh, had requested a report from Mushtaq Ahmed Mahar, Inspector-General of Police, Sindh, on the event. In the rape case involving a teenage girl, he likewise ordered harsh punishment for the perpetrators.
