PRCS organizes candlelight vigil for Peshawar victims

KARACHI - The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) – (Sindh) also organized a candlelight vigil and special prayer at Teen Talwar Karachi to express sorrows and solidarity for the victims of Peshawar carnage.

PRCS-Sindh Chairperson Mrs Farzhana Naek and PRCS management committee have also expressed their deepest condolences over the horrific incidents that left the entire country and the world aghast on Army Public School in Peshawar which claimed 141 lives including 131 schoolchildren.

The hundreds of schoolchildren, people from International Red Cross Red/Crescent Movement, civil societies, media and a number of citizens also took to part in the condemnation of the terrorist attack. A special prayer service was also held by participants expressing as well their solidarity with the parents of the martyred children.
