Dengue Fever Still A Menace

KARACHI- As many as 8 dengue fever cases have been reported across Karachi, since the beginning of April, taking the reported cases toll to 256, since 1st January 2018.

As per weekly report issued by Prevention and Control Program for Dengue in Sindh, at least 8 new dengue fever cases surfaced across the city, within a week.

In April, a total 48 dengue positive cases were reported throughout Sindh, out of which 46 were from Karachi and 2 from other districts of province. A total of 271 dengue cases have been reported throughout the Province of Sindh, out of which 256 were reported within Karachi and 15 from rest of the Province.  Unfortunately, a death was also reported in Karachi this year.
