New Polio Case confirmed in Sindh

Shikarpur: Another polio virus case has been confirmed in Sindh on Monday, the 24th of November, bringing the total number of Polio cases to 27 in 2014.

Health Department officials confirmed one more Polio case in Sindh province which was reported from the Shikarpur district. Four-month old Sumera, daughter of Qadir Buksh is the latest victim of the crippling disease from Village Buksh Bakhrani, Union Council Hamayoun, Shikarpur. The girl was tested positive for Polio with status of doses at 0+0.

Officials stated that a total 27 cases have been reported in province in 2014 out of which 23 were reported from Karachi alone.
