2nd Basic Arthroscopy Workshop organized

Rawalpindi: The Pakistan Orthopaedic Association recently organized the 2nd Basic Arthroscopy Workshop at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Rawalpindi, on the 23rd of November.

The Workshop comprised of highly informative lectures as well as a hands-on session for the participants. Prominent, distinguished members of the Arthroscopy forum including Prof Dr Riaz Ahmed, Dr Masood Umer, Dr Shazia Yousuf, Dr Mugees Ikram, Dr Khalid Shah, Gen. Sohail Hafeez, Prof Abu Bakr Siddique, and Dr Zubair Javaid presented lectures. The hands-on workshop was conducted and facilitated by Dr Khalid M Shah and Professor Riaz Ahmed.

Professionals covered clinical examination of the knee, knee arthroscopy portals, knee arthroscopic procedures, MRI examinations and Transtibial bone-to-bone ACL Reconstruction during the workshop, followed by an interactive Q&A session. All participants received certificates towards the end of the workshop.
