KARACHI- Amid widespread criticism of Sindh government’s failure in providing succour to the victims of searing heat, Sindh Rangers took the lead by setting up 10 centres in the city to deal with sunstroke patients.
A spokesman for Sindh Rangers said that all the centres have doctors and necessary equipment to provide relief to the victims of sunstroke.
The centres have been set up at Rangers Training Centre and College, Toll Plaza; Sindh Rangers Hospital, Block A, North Nazimabad; HQ 53 Wing, Baldia Town; HQ 93 Wing, People’s Football Stadium, Mauripur Road; HQ 91 Wing, SITE Stadium; HQ 72 Wing, Kala Pull; HQ 83 Wing, Jamia Millia, Malir; HQ 82 Wing, Muzaffarabad Colony; HQ 63 Wing, Karachi University and HQ 44 Wing, North Karachi.
The citizens have been requested to reach the nearest centre in case of emergency.
