All essential services to remain functional: CS Sindh

KARACHI: All the essential services and COVID-19-related activities have remained functional on the directives of Chief Secretary Sindh during the general holiday.   

No leave was allowed during the rain emergency, and all the casual leaves were cancelled/withdrawn.   

All the control rooms established for the rain emergency remained active, and the staff on duty at the control rooms will be monitored randomly by the Divisional Directors of Health Services.   

All the ambulances and services with adequate medicines and staff were on high alert. 

The Divisional Directors and District Health Officers visited the high-risk areas and monitored the designated areas for those who would have been shifted/displaced. As per the need of the displaced peoples, free medical camps and ambulance services be provided.
