Private lab sealed for dengue test overcharging 

KAHUTA: A private laboratory was sealed for overcharging for dengue tests by the local administration and health department officials here.
According to officials, acting on a complaint lodged by a citizen, saying a private laboratory on Thana Road had charged him more than the Punjab government’s regulated rate for a dengue test, Assistant Commissioner Ayesha Zafar sealed the laboratory. 
Authorities have reiterated their commitment to closely monitoring private medical facilities, vowing to continue strict action against overcharging and substandard services.
