Pakistan Cardiac Society’s 46th annual moot kicks off on 25th

FAISALABAD: A three-day “46th Annual Conference of Pakistan Cardiac Society, CARDIO CON -2016”, will kick off here on Friday (Nov25) at a local hotel. The theme of the conference is “Global Heart Health in 21st Century, Prevention to Treatments".

The moot is being held under the aegis of Pakistan Cardiac Society and in collaboration with Department of Cardiology, Punjab Medical College/ Allied Hospital and Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology. It will continue till Nov 27.

The salient features of conference include a workshop on “ECG & Electrophysiology”, basic review course on interventional cardiology and Cardiac Imaging for residents of Cardiology and young Cardiologists; live interactive workshop on “Interventional Cardiology”; workshop on “Structural Heart Disease”. It would be followed by a comprehensive review of Echocardiography and Peads Cardiology session.

The topic of other scientific sessions include Cardio metabolic, CV Risk Management, Hypertension and Heart Failure, ASCVD & ACS and hot issues in Cardiology and hot controversies in Cardiology.

Moreover, there will a dedicated session on Heart Disease in Women and guideline session for Family Physicians & young Doctors.
