No vaccination fees for outbound air passengers

ISLAMABAD: The federal government recently abolished the COVID-19 booster shot fee for outbound air passengers.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of National Health Services Regulations and Coordination, the Government of Pakistan, people travelling abroad can get a booster shot of a COVID-19 vaccine free of cost by showing their documents at vaccination centres.

The government was already providing free COVID-19 booster doses to the general public. However, Rs1,250 was being charged for the booster shot from those travelling abroad.
