Sindh Medical Universities’ Entry Tests Taken Together For First Time

KARACHI: For the first time, the admission tests of medical colleges and universities in Sindh’s five major cities are being taken together.


The medical entrance tests are being taken in different universities and colleges in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, and Nawabshah.


In Karachi, the tests are being conducted for admission in Dow Medical College, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical College, Lyari Medical College, Karachi Medical and Dental College, Dr Ishrat-ul Ibad Dental College and NED University.


More than 6,000 male and female students are competing for 1,050 MBBS and 300 BDS seats.


In Larkana, the entry test for Chandka Medical College and Asifa Dental College (ADC) is being taken at the police training school.


Approximately, 4,700 students are giving tests for Chandka Medical’s 200 and ADC’s 50 seats.


In Nawabshah, 1,100 candidates are taking exams for Peoples Medical University for Women’s 250 seats.


Meanwhile, in Sukkur, an entry test is being held for five different medical colleges under the NTS, which is being attended by more than 3,200 students.
