Illegal occupation of a hospital in Malir

KARACHI - A 25-bedded Government-run hospital situated in C-area of Kala board, Malir Town, which was forcefully occupied by Works and Services Department officials earlier, has been finally retrieved.

An official of the hospital, on condition of anonymity, said; This 25-bedded hospital was illegally occupied by Works and Services Department officials, a few months ago. He said; now the hospital has been retrieved and a centre for the Expanded Program on Immunization has been established in the premises of the hospital.

He said; The hospital was retrieved after continuous efforts of Town Health Officer and now a children vaccination center has been established in the hospital to benefit the area people.

Malir Town Health Officer - Dr Masood Solangi also confirmed the news about this positive development. He said; the Commissioner Karachi, Director Health Karachi, Deputy Commissioner Korangi, Assistant Director Anti Corruption and Secretary Works and Services have played key roles in this regard. The EPI vaccination center has been established in building after its renovation, while OPDs service will also begin soon.
