MSPH Thesis Defence held at JSMU

KARACHI: A Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) scholar, Dr Nida Azhar successfully defended her thesis at the thesis defence research seminar led by the Research Department and APPNA Institute of Public Health-Jinnah Sindh Medical University. 

Dr Nida Azhar completed her research work under Assistant Prof AIPH-JSMU Dr Zaeema Ahmer on the subject ‘Frequency of use of nutritional supplements and hormones: A study of selected gym users in Karachi.’ 

The thesis defence seminar was assessed by the research committee members and ASRB observer, including two external examiners, Dr Shah Kamal Hashmi, Assistant Professor School of Public Health, Dow University of Health Sciences, and Professor Dr Bazmi Inam, Department of Community Medicine, Institute of Medical Science, Bahawalpur joined the session virtually. 

Prof Syed Masroor Ahmed, Department of Medicine, Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, was present as the internal examiner, while Prof Dr Huma Shareef, Director, Research Department, served as the Neutral Chair. 

Prof Amjad Siraj Memon commended the MSPH graduate for her efforts and congratulated her on successfully defending her thesis.
