Government reinstates PMDC: Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) Dissolved

ISLAMABAD: The PMDC act has been approved by the Senate's standing committee, and PMC has been dissolved. Also, there will be no NLE for local graduates of medical schools. The provinces will conduct the MDCAT.

In 2019, Arif Alvi, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, issued an act dissolving the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and establishing the Pakistan Medical Council (PMC).
