BAHAWALPUR: As many as 19 students of 2023-24 session of the University College of Nursing at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) have been awarded fully funded scholarships worth over Rs4.3 million by the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PEEF).
The University College of Nursing Principal Farhan Mukhtar announced that IUB Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar distributed the scholarship cheques among the students.
The VC thanked the PEEF administration for supporting nursing students through these scholarships.
Prof. Dr. Asadullah Madani, Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell, Prof. Dr. Areeba Khan, Director of Financial Assistance, and other committee members were also present at the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Mr Mukhtar said that admissions for BS and MS nursing programs are currently going on at the college.
