Health dept. to launch nutrition program in 8 drought hit districts  

KARACHI- Sindh Health Department in collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO) is launching Health and Nutrition Initiative in eight drought affected districts of Sindh province from 1st March 2019.

Director General Health Sindh Dr Masood Solangi said that the Health and Nutrition Initiative would be launched in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Thatta, Dadu, Sanghar, Jamshoro, Badin,  Qambar Shahdadkot and others.

He said interventions including provision of emergency medical kits and two fully equipped mobile medical units for seven districts would be arranged. He further said, four mobile medical units had been planned for Tharparkar to reach out the community.
