The outgoing President of PPA, Centre, Syed Qalb eHasan Rizvi, took oath from newly elected office-bearers of PPA.
Chaudhary Mushtaq has been elected as President, PPA, Centre for 2018-20 time period, while Adnan Rizvi and Aziz Nagra elected as Vice-President and General Secretary, respectively.
Vice-President, PPA, Centre, Adnan Rizvi, said majority of pharmacist posts have been lying vacant in public sector health facilities of Sindh. He demanded the Sindh government to fulfill the vacant posts on immediate basis.
He said private sector hospitals are not giving salaries to pharmacists as per their skill and said pharmacists should be given payments on per grade-17. He said struggle to resolve the problems being faced by pharmacists will continue in future.
