Two-day world health security moot to kick start on Jan 10

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will host the Global Health Security Summit on Jan 10-11, says caretaker Federal Minister for Health Nadeem Jan in a statement.

Mr Jan said it is an honour for Pakistan to host the summit where an integrated strategy to deal with global epidemics will be formed. 

The minister said at the end of the event, Islamabad declaration would be issued.

He added that by holding the global summit Pakistan’s position in the field of healthcare will be strengthened. “Hosting the Global Health Security conference shows that Pakistan is leading in the field of health, ” the minister said.
