KARACHI-The Sindh Health Department has issued orders for Termination of Services for 38 doctors and 3 nurses in Sindh due to absence from duty.
The order was issued after multiple warnings and show cause notices were issued to these officials. The Chief Minister and the Health Minister of Sindh decided on the policy to take stern action because of their absence in this humanitarian crisis. The health department is also issuing a final warning notice for the remaining doctors who are missing from their duties to report back to their duty station or will be terminated from services.
“We are suffering from a humanitarian crisis, and the medical professionals need to understand that we need to be on the ground helping people out. This is not the time to be missing from their jobs,” said Azra Fazal Pechuho.
