KARACHI: Azra Fazal Pechuho, Minister for Health and Population Welfare, met with the president of the Pakistan Medical Commission, Dr Noshad Ahmad Shaikh.
They discussed the current year MDCAT for admission requirements and proposed that the passing grade required for MBBS should be 55% and 45% for BDS.
PMC President assured to pledge this proposal before the board for their consideration. The meeting also discussed mitigating the situation for students affected by the floods. Moreover, the date for MDCAT has been proposed for mid-November.
