Prof Chaudhry Abdul Rehman becomes new PAMI head

LAHORE: NaiBaatMedia Network Chairman Prof Chaudhry Abdul Rehman, who also owns a private medical college, has been elected unopposed president of the Pakistan Association of Private Medical and Dental Institutions (PAMI). The other office-bearers of the association included Dr Riaz Janjua (general secretary), Dr Mohammad Tariq from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (vice president), Dr Ali Farhan from Sindh (joint secretary) and Abdul Waheed Sheikh (finance secretary), according to a press release on Saturday.

Addressing the oath-taking ceremony, Mr Rehman said the newly-elected body would use all available resources to produce best medics.

Heads and owners of many private medical and dental colleges attended the ceremony from all over the country.
