Murad urges special persons to get education, training

KARACHI: According to Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister of Sindh (CM), children with special needs are kind and respectful of others; these attributes are enhanced when they are given suitable training and education.

KVTC and other good educational institutions like it must be supported by all of us in order for them to become valuable members of society."

While speaking at the Karachi Vocational Training Center's (KVTC) Graduation Ceremony for Children with Disabilities, he remarked this. 

Sadiq Memon, Haseeb Khan, the CEO of KVTC, the parents of the graduates, and heads of many global corporations were in attendance at the graduation ceremony.

This year, the students of Karachi Vocational Training Centre who have completed their STEVTA Board examinations will receive medals of distinction from him. 

Sen. Abdul Haseeb Khan (CEO of KVTC), Senator Abdul Haseeb Khan (Senator), and their entire team are to be applauded for arranging the first-ever graduation ceremony for differently-abled persons in Pakistan and bringing KVTC to new heights of achievement," he said.

Parents of differently-abled children, he said, had enrolled them in KVTC for adequate education and training because they believed in their children's abilities. 

The Sindh government will assist the KVTC in achieving its Vision 2030, which aims to empower 5,000 differently-abled people in Sindh to begin their professional lives.

The CM stated that knowing that the KVTC has established dormitories for people with disabilities, where they will have the opportunity to experience hostel life, was very encouraging.

It is up to organisations like KVTC, which integrate 'taleem' and the "tarbiyat, to ensure that society accepts people with disabilities and provides them with equal opportunities to live, work, and prosper in society," Murad Ali Shah said, promising to support KVTC at all levels and to speak up for the needs of people with disabilities.

In the past, the chief minister wore medals and took photographs with the graduating kids.
